So, any thoughts in the 'Tinker Board'
Does anyone already own one? The specs look good (faster, more RAM, 4K
video, 24/192 audio) and it runs Debian. And it obviously fits into
standard RPi 2/3 cases. The 4K makes it an ideal board for KODI, but
what about our Squeezebox enviroment (LMS, Squeezelite, Max2Play)?

Current setup:

- EEEBox, Xubuntu 14.04, LMS 7.9, FLAC
- *Duet* > Pro-Ject DAC Box E > AKG Hearo 888 Titan (home office),
*Boom + Canton ASF 75 SC* (master bedroom), *Boom* (master bathroom),
2 *Radios* (guest bathroom and garden deck), *RPi3 + LibreELEC +
XSqueeze* > Samsung TV > NAD L53 > Mission 2.1 speakers (living room)
- *Touch* > Parasound DAC 1500 > vintage Wega Modul 42V amp (42E
equalizer, 42T tape deck + Thorens TD 160 Mk II turntable) > Quadral
Vulkan Mk II (music room)

4k only is marketing: it can upscale 1080 content to 4K. But it doesn't handle 4K content.

http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/Linux/Tinker_Board_2GB/FAQ_Tinkerboard.pdf?_ga=1.170991456.1519246603.1446318631

Other than that I guess it's a solid platform to run LMS. And it has gbit.
